2 teens in Detroit get into a gun fight over who makes the best “Kool-Aid”, and instead of shooting one another 2 other teens get shot. I’ve said it once before and I will say it again, Detroit I love you, but this violence has to stop. I decided to share this video with you because this is ridiculous. But in this day in age with all of the senseless acts of violence happening this situation doesn’t seem surprising. When a woman can be raped and killed because she doesn’t want to have sex with a man, boy rather, then teens pulling guns out over minute disagreements has just become the reality of the world we live in today. I’m speechless … saddened actually, well amongst other emotions. I think it’s even more disturbing that people have become desensitized to it. And the thought of someone reading this and thinking nothing of it, is even worse.
Peace. I’m just trying to find release, somewhere in this life but not out here in these streets.
I’ve been going through what we call spiritual warfare. It’s when you commit your life to the greater good, and the enemy ( the enemy being ANY person who doesn’t hold your best interest at heart ) always comes out the wood works trying to attack you. I’m to the point in my life where negative energy is of no effect. I figure as much positive energy as I spread, is as much as I will get back. BUT I don’t do it to be praised by others, I do it to praise Him. You see, it took a series of events in my life for me to realize that nothing that I do is because of myself. Everything that I do, every talent that I possess is because of The Creator himself. I realized that once we take the light off of ourselves and start focusing more on the real situation at hand, we will be so much better off. God is The Creator of all things, and he must be praised. I will never be selfish enough to take all the credit, when honestly all thanks be to Him.
Acoustic version of Chris Browns Paper, Scissors, Rock. It sounds nothing like the original song, this is pure talent right here. It’s refreshing to hear someone do a cover and completely make it their own. Enjoy.
